Tell me about yourself!
I am originally from Houston, TX, but I currently live in Florida. I have a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University where I studied Russian and Spanish. My professional background includes experience in security, hospitality, customer service, and logistics. I have a passion for travel and foreign cultures and helping people realize their dream vacation.
What is your favorite city?
For me, it’s a toss-up between Rome and London. London has so much to offer for visitors and has some of the best museums in the world. While the British Museum was a highlight, my favorite was the Churchill War Rooms. Of course, Rome has a plethora of sights, but my favorite activity was simply wandering the streets and contemplating all the past events that have occurred throughout its long history.
What do you like to do besides work and travel?
I like to spend as much time outside as I can. My favorite activities are running and hiking.
Since moving to Florida, I love spending time in the water, particularly kayaking and scuba diving.
I am also an avid reader. My favorite genres are history, historical fiction, and science fiction. Most of my family is still scattered throughout Texas, so I always try to make time to return and spend time with them.
What was your most memorable vacation?
I would have to say my most memorable vacation was a trip to England, Switzerland and Rome. It combined two of my favorite interests: outdoor activities and history. Highlights included hiking in the Swiss countryside and visiting all the historical sights of London and Rome. Also, the food in each country was unique and outstanding, although nothing can compare to authentic Italian pasta and pizza.
