Tell me about yourself!
I was raised just outside of Chicago and after many years living in the beautiful mountain town of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, I moved back to Chicagoland at the end of 2019. While I cherished the breathtaking scenery and incredible hikes in Colorado, I’m excited to be back in the Chicago area near my family. Travel is a true passion of mine and I try to make it a priority. I believe you are always learning when you travel– about ourselves, different cultures, cuisines. The connections I make with people along the way are what I find most impactful. I’ve been fortunate to work in the luxury travel industry for over 10 years, where I’ve had the privilege of crafting unforgettable and authentic experiences for my clients. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me practicing hot yoga, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or relaxing at home with my dog.
What is your favorite city?
Currently, my favorite city is Prague but as I keep exploring the world that may change. I love Prague because of its stunning medieval architecture, including the iconic Charles Bridge and Prague Castle, which offer a fairytale-like atmosphere; the vibrant nightlife, the delicious Czech cuisine, particularly the hearty meat dishes and world-renowned beer, the friendly locals, and the walkability of the city.
What is one of your favorite vacation spots?
I try to get to the beach as often as I can and one of my favorite spots is the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. This area holds a special place in my heart. I spend my days surfing, practicing yoga and walking the stretch of the pristine beach. I feel a sense of community and connection to nature and love the fresh and healthy cuisine. I also visited Croatia recently and loved all of it: the beautiful coast, the food and wine and a memorable bike tour with breathtaking views. I would love to go back and explore more.
