What have been your most favorite trips?
One of my most memorable trips was a month-long adventure up the West Coast from Arizona to Seattle, complete with an Alaskan cruise and a week long stop at Lake Tahoe on the way back. Our family began with the thrill of hitting the open road, moving through Arizona and then up through California, Oregon, and Washington. Each leg offered a different experience: towering redwoods, scenic coastal views, and lush green forests.
In Seattle, we boarded an Alaskan cruise, which turned out to be one of the trip’s highlights. Cruising for our first time we filled our time with cultural experiences and saw glaciers, spotting wildlife, and exploring Alaskan towns brought a sense of wonder and awe. Each day was a new discovery, from the dramatic fjords to unforgettable views of snow-capped mountains.
On the way back, we stopped at Lake Tahoe for a week, a perfect capstone to the trip. The serene lake and stunning mountain views provided a relaxing contrast to the coastal and cruise adventures. This journey, with its mix of scenic drives, unique destinations, and unforgettable sights, made for an incredible and lasting memory.
What do you like to do outside of work or travel?
Outside of work and travel, I enjoy a variety of activities with my family. Golf is a big passion of mine, whether it’s out on the course or experimenting with golf simulators to improve my game.
Another interest is strategy board games, where I get to exercise my competitive and analytical side. These games are a great way to connect with friends and family, combining mental challenges with the enjoyment of friendly rivalry.
What is your favorite city to visit?
San Antonio stands out as a favorite for its rich blend of history, culture, and charm. The city offers a unique mix of historical sites, like the Alamo, and the vibrant San Antonio River Walk (makes it feel like it is a city on top of a city), which combines beautiful waterfront views with great restaurants and entertainment. Our family has enjoyed multiple trips there and made great memories while living in Texas.
