This unique and exclusive 7 day tour offers a varied selection of some of Scotland’s most historic 4* and 5*accommodations including a 2 night stay at the fabulous 5* Inverlochy Castle in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
You might prefer an independent and fully customized Scotland Castle Tour, available as either a Scotland Self Drive Tour or alternatively a Scotland Chauffeur Driven Vacation with the wonderful luxury of your own private driver/guide.
Day 1: Crossbasket Castle, East Kilbride, Scotland
Arrive at Edinburgh Airport and transfer to Crossbasket Castle by luxury coach. Your tour begins this afternoon with a scenic cruise on Loch Lomond. Afterwards return to Crossbasket Castle where you will enjoy a welcome dinner in their award winning restaurant.
Day 2: Kincraig Castle, Ivergordon, Scotland
This morning travel to Pitlochry, where your first stop will be at Edradour Distillery for a tour and whisky tasting. From here, you will travel through the Cairngorms National Park to Culloden Battlefield where you will have time to explore the visitor centre and spend some time on Culloden moor. Afterwards, make your way North of Inverness to Kincraig Castle where you will enjoy a two-night stay. Tonight, you will dine in the Alexander Room at Kincraig Castle.
Day 3: Kincraig Castle, Invergordon, Scotland
After a leisurely morning, travel south along the shores of Loch Ness, stopping at Drumnadrochit to visit the Loch Ness Centre and Exhibition. After lunch, visit the spectacular Urquhart Castle perched on the very edge of Loch Ness. In the afternoon, enjoy some free time to explore Inverness before returning to Kincraig Castle for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Inverlochy Castle, Fort William, Scotland
Get an early start today as you head for the Isle of Skye. Stop to visit Eilean Donan Castle before crossing the land bridge over the sea to Skye. Travel down the coast to the Clan Donald Skye Visitor Centre before catching the ferry to Mallaig. Once back on the mainland make your way to Inverlochy Castle and check in for your 2 night stay. Tonight you will dine at the world famous Albert and Michel Roux Jr at Inverlochy Castle.
Day 5: Inverlochy Castle, Fort William, Scotland
Today is a day of relaxation to enjoy all that Inverlochy Castle has to offer. If you prefer to take this time to add some optional extras to your tour, we will be happy to arrange this for you. The Jacobite Steam train (made famous as “The Hogwarts Express”) runs from Fort William daily, or if you are looking for something more active, Achnacarry Sporting and Country Pursuits offer a wide range of options. Tonight, you will dine independently. Additional dining options are available in Fort William, a short taxi ride away from Inverlochy Castle.
Day 6: Cringletie Estate, Peebles, Scotland
Bid a fond farewell to Inverlochy Castle and make your way to your first stop at Glencoe. Spend some time in the visitor centre and enjoy the beautiful views before continuing on to Stirling Castle. This evening will find you at the beautiful Cringletie Estate for your final castle stay. Enjoy a farewell dinner before retiring for an early night ready for your flight home.
Day 7: Home
Bid a fond farewell to your driver/guide as you are brought to Edinburgh Airport for your flight home.
